Winter Lights

This book is it! ‘Winter Lights’ is a series of heartwarming short stories – perfect for us busy parents who often don’t have long stretches of time to read. Each story has a unique character and feel but is set in the same small town. From the family forced to spend Christmas with the mother-in-law to the overworked primary teacher to the unlikely couple finding love in the office, the characters start to overlap as you go through ‘Winter Lights’, culminating in a wonderful final chapter which brings lots of them together.

‘Winter Lights’ is not a deep read, as each story gives just a snapshot into the character’s life, but it’ll warm your cockles and bring touches of poignancy which make for a very enjoyable reading experience overall. Deborah Jenkins is a Christian, and her faith shines through in the hope woven throughout every story, although ‘Winter Lights’ has been published by a mainstream publisher.
