It’s a heartwarming tale of a dog who wants to give everyone a Christmas present they’ll love. He feels pressure from all around to get it right but he doesn’t have the money or inspiration to buy the perfect gift and wrap it beautifully. What will he do? Luckily, Charlie Farley comes up with a super idea which everyone loves!

‘What Is Your Christmas Gift Charlie Farley?’ is a lovely Christmas-themed story which helps children see that Christmas is more than just presents and that joy can be found in giving rather than receiving. My child (aged 7) had quite a soft spot for Charlie Farley and enjoyed this Christmas-themed story. As a parent, I could identify with Charlie’s woes too! Each Charlie Farley book also has activities at the back and conversation starters. There’s also a hide and seek element to each book too. My son loved these parts of the book too and enjoyed discussing the questions.

Whilst not overtly Christian, this series is written by a Christian author, with the aim of helping children process different emotions in a healthy way.
