Understanding Spiritual Gifts: A Comprehensive Guide
A simple, accessible guide to the purpose and use of spiritual gifts in the life of every Christian, and in the church.
In ‘Understanding Spiritual Gifts’, Sam Storms seeks to dispel myths and misconceptions around the use of these gifts, and presents a way forward for those who want to develop or use their gift in a biblical way. I appreciated the honest and gracious tone of this book, and the way that Storms encouraged readers to search the scriptures themselves on this topic. He provides many scripture references throughout, and highlights key pastoral experiences and his own testimony regarding the use of spiritual gifts.
This would be a good starting point for those curious (or confused) about spiritual gifts to gain some clarity and encouragement in their use.
