The Silent Spark
By Chip Kendall
How does someone unlock their potential? This accessible and positive book has a range of contemporary illustrations, engaging facts and a variety of celebrity examples to inspire readers.
Readers are encouraged to embrace mistakes, express their creativity and unleash the spark within themselves.
Although ‘The Silent Spark’ is written from a faith-based perspective with references to God (how He gives each individual their unique potential) and short Bible references (including the Good Samaritan, the two builders and the parable of the talents), it is more focused on self-discovery rather than prayer and understanding one’s identity in Christ.
At the end of each short chapter, there are journalling questions for self-reflection. These focus on an individual’s experience and opinions and may initiate a helpful conversation with a tween keen to explore their talents.
