Stories about Jesus: Eight True Stories from the Bible

Steph’s storytelling has been delighting little kids (and big kids) for a while, bringing many Gospel stories to life. ‘Stories about Jesus’ are simply told using lots of onomatopoeias which kids love to join in with. Her illustrations are modern, in a recognisable style which is bright and emotive.

Steph has a great way of asking questions and inviting the listener into relationship with Jesus. ‘Stories about Jesus’ take many classic parables, events from Jesus’ life and his teachings and make them accessible for kids in the 21st century. Steph also includes the Bible text and notes for older readers for each story which are useful for parents and older kids, who want to know more about the story and the context.

I have long been a fan of these books as gifts for godchildren, friends and family – especially for things like Christmas and Easter – so it’s great to have a hardcopy anthology to enjoy time and time again. Which is exactly what my youngest did when he asked me to read it to him every lunchtime for weeks!
