Still Standing

I hugely enjoyed this book which is part-autobiography, part-devotional.

Tola Doll Fisher has been through so much in her short life: divorce, abortion, baby loss and more. The lessons are SHORT (two pages each) so it’s an easy read for busy parents. When Tola discusses her racial identity, it’s fascinating to hear her perspective as a privileged, privately-educated Nigerian-Brit.

‘Still Standing’ has a few swears. Now, personally, I enjoy this in a Christian book as it makes it more real – but if it would be a turn-off for you, now you know.
