Squish and Snugg Sweet Lamb: A Gentle Introduction to Jesus the Good Shepherd

By Fiona Boon

A soft covered book in the shape of a lamb with different textures.

‘Squish and Snugg Sweet Lamb’ is suitable from birth, and my toddler really liked it.

Inside there is rhyming text about Jesus and how he loves, cares and finds us. There is also a Bible verse, mostly from Psalm 23, on every other page. The illustrations are cute, showing how Jesus cares for his sheep. The final page shows Jesus with an ethnically diverse group of people.

‘Squish and Snugg Sweet Lamb’ is described as a gentle introduction to Jesus as the Good Shepherd and it fits this bill very well – emphasising how Jesus cares for and rescues us. ‘Squish and Snugg Sweet Lamb’ would make a great gift for a new baby, baptism or dedication.
