See! Let's Be A Good Friend
By Gemma Hunt
This is a modern rewriting of some of Jesus’ parables and Bible stories such as the feeding of the 5,000.
‘See! Let’s Be A Good Friend’ is a readable, accessible book which is both my two-year-old and six-year-old enjoyed. The writing is kid-friendly and brings the stories to life. My six-year old’s favourite story was “Selflessness”. My two-year-old enjoyed “Share”. The illustration is ethnically and culturally diverse. ‘See! Let’s Be A Good Friend’ represents many of the everyday scenes kids recognise.
A big shout-out I have to give ‘See! Let’s Be A Good Friend’ is that a friend of mine, who is not a Christian, has this book; she and her kids love it. So I would recommend it as a way to share Jesus with non-Christians.
