Sanctuary: Cultivating a Quiet Heart in a Noisy and Demanding World

'Sanctuary' was the devotional book which once got me back into a good devotional habit - and, once finished, left me a little unsure how to keep going - so I have much to credit it for.

I appreciate that when a book has been so intensely useful to one person at one time, it might not be right for everyone at every time, but I can’t easily detach my subjective experience, so sorry, you’re stuck with it…here goes…

‘Sanctuary’ is an AMAZING 31-day devotional. Based on the verse from 1 Thessalonians 4 about ‘leading a quiet life’, each day’s devotion takes a different verse in Scripture to teach the importance of quietness and stillness in a world full of noise and activity.

For those of us tangled up in social media, loud Internet voices, influencers and trends, ‘Sanctuary’ is a refreshing ‘re-set’, helping us to focus our hearts on what is important. Absolutely brilliant in every way.
