Refresh: Introducing Adults to Faith Through Toddler Groups

Caroline Montgomery was shocked when one of the parents at her toddler group hadn’t realised that the group was anything to do with the church – she’d thought they were just using the building! So Caroline set out to relaunch her group with a distinctly Christian focus. The approach at ‘Refresh’ is to focus on the adults first – their physical, emotional and spiritual refreshment – whilst offering a lovely, safe space for their little ones to play. The result? Whole families coming to church, doing Alpha courses, coming to faith – it’s quite incredible!

‘Refresh’ is easy and quick to read, with the first half documenting the practicalities of how it all works, and the second half made up of over 30 ‘thoughts for the day’ that you can use, off the shelf, in your toddler group or similar fringe/outreach group.
