Raising Confident Kids in a Confusing World

I've been sensing that Christian parents have lost their confidence in raising children with a secure identity in Christ over the last few decades.

This is quite understandable given the rate of technological and cultural change over the last 20 years. But what are we supposed to do about it?

Cue this brilliant book, ‘Raising Confident Kids’, from Ed Drew (Faith in Kids). Ed lays out, in ten thought-provoking and relatable chapters, how we can point our children to the secure reality of life in God. He reminded me of the sheer goodness of Jesus, the wonder of the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit as we bring our children before Him.

I loved that ‘Raising Confident Kids’ covered tricky areas like sexuality and gender which many shy away from. You may not agree with his stance, but I think his words deserve being read and mulled over – he makes compelling points. A brilliant book to focus us as Christian parents.
