Pop Up Bible Stories

By Jayne Schofield

A colourful, fun book for young toddlers.

It includes seven Bible stories – the classic Old Testament stories like David and Goliath and Daniel and Jonah, plus the Nativity and Easter.

‘Pop Up Bible Stories’ is written in a similar style to other Authentic kids’ books, with rhyming verses. There are plenty of things to look at and keep children amused. It is best viewed on a flat surface so the cardboard fold outs can really ‘come to life’. There are some moving parts too which are quite clever.

I have to say – and it may be my heavy handed toddler – but the book hasn’t all stood the test of time – poor Goliath has been defeated again in our copy of the book. However, ‘Pop Up Bible Stories’ is an engaging book which I am sure will be read and re-read in homes, church libraries and toddler playgroups.
