Ours: Biblical Comfort for Men Grieving Miscarriage

(There are many resources out there to support women: ‘Too Soon’ by Jane Clamp/SPCK and ‘Held’ by Abbey Wedgeworth/Good Book Co to name two). I asked a Christian male friend with experience of miscarriage to read and review ‘Ours’ for me, and he said this:

“I’d describe myself as quite ‘academic’ in my Bible study: I’m the sort that reads a Bible passage alongside a commentary and takes notes! So I tend to be a bit sceptical of books like ‘Ours’ with short chapters, wondering whether there’s anything I can learn! I was pleasantly surprised though when I read ‘Ours’: I ended up taking notes on each chapter and it even helped prepare for a Sunday service! It’s great too because each chapter is stand-alone, so you can pick & choose what you’d like to think about on a particular day.”
