Nobody's Dog
My 9-year-old daughter said, “I really enjoyed this book and it had pretty good cliff-hangers.
“I would say that it has a lot of drama. It is all about a boy called Luke who finds a lost dog called Bushy and gives it some tripe (a food recommended by Luke’s Polish neighbour Mr Bronzoni). I would say this book is good for about 6-9s.”
Mum says, “Surely there aren’t many better things than seeing your kids totally engrossed in a book, without you having to tell them to read. ‘Nobody’s Dog’ did just that for my daughter! It isn’t long, with large text, so older kids can easily read it to themselves, while it would make a lovely read-aloud for a younger child.”
