Next Steps to Following Jesus: Helping You and Your Family Discover More About Jesus

I mean – the latter is great and important, but how about when your kids HAVE decided to follow Jesus, or at least want to explore more? What do you do then?

Cue this book: ‘Next Steps to Following Jesus’. It contains 30 beautifully short, simple, rich devotionals for children, helping them go that little bit deeper in their knowledge of, and relationship with, Jesus. Plus, four ‘pathways’ are given, to engage different types of learners: Think, Feel, Get Active and Create. Your child or family can choose how they’d like to respond.

‘Next Steps to Following Jesus’ goes right from spotting Jesus in creation, through the OT prophecies, his birth, life, ministry, teachings, death, resurrection and ascension. I’ve tried these out with my family (kids aged 8-13), but they’d work as individual devotions too. Aimed at 7-11s but, as usual, take that with a pinch of salt.
