Life Together: The Family Devotional
If you're looking to get into better family devotional habits, 'Life Together' is one of the easiest books I've come across to pick up and use, straight off the shelf.
We tend to do any devotionals over a meal, so ‘Life Together’ is perfect: the Bible passage is written out, so there’s no tricky juggling of two books, plus there are no craft activities that you need to find resources or space for! After the day’s Bible passage, you get a short explanation, one of Steve’s amazing facts (or Bekah’s reflections), a question or two to apply the passage to your own lives, and a prayer.
Each devotion in ‘Life Together’ is refreshingly short, and you get 72 in total: 12 weeks, and 6 per week (one each day, then one to cover the weekend). But you can just do as we did – stick the bookmark in, and read when you have a spare moment!
