Joseph and the Dream Coat with Touch and Feel
We loved it! The book has a ‘touch and feel’ sensory element to it which my kids enjoyed. The illustration is modern and relatively diverse. It’s also a rhyming book which makes it very engaging. It’s told from a first-person perspective. I like language such as “I helped to feed Egypt, just as God planned” as it shows God is working even when we can’t see it. And it seems a good interpretation of Genesis 50:20. ‘Joseph and the Dream Coat’ also ends with a prayer which helps build the discipline of reading the Bible, applying it to our lives and thanking God.
There are four other titles in the series. I think they would be suitable for babies from a young age. They make fantastic baptism/ dedication gifts and would be a great addition to any church or family library.
