Jennifer: A Life Precious to God

I found this book fascinating, honest, informative and - despite the subject matter - incredibly uplifting and hope-filled.

GP Karen lost her daughter Jennifer at just a few hours old, having been prepared for the worst during pregnancy, where various medical problems were diagnosed. Rather than terminate, Karen and her husband chose to carry Jennifer to term, and ‘Jennifer: A Life Precious to God’ is their story of what happened, how it affected them, and where God was through it all.

I always think that when a Christian goes through life’s worst, their response should look different to that of an unbeliever going through the same. Sadly, that is not always the case. But Karen and Gordon’s faith shines through this absorbing book.
