Isabella's Voyage

I read ‘Isabella’s Voyage’ on holiday – and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. I finished it in a few days – and if you can imagine how many times I had kids jumping on me or otherwise pulling my head out of books, that’s pretty good going.

Set in Victorian England, Isabella is bored by the restrictive life of an unmarried woman living with her parents. She takes up an opportunity to travel to the South Pacific, and the story of how her travels lead her into new experiences, sacrifices and eventually a forever love is spellbinding.
