'In the Beginning' follows the six days of creation, told in rhyme and illustrated in a bright, creative way.

My three year old loved the hole in the book, which he could look through and also put his hand through. The book also has tactile, felt edges too, which are very inviting.

All the illustrations of people and animals are very friendly with big, cartoony eyes. The people are not white, which is great to see. It’s quite a large book so easy for little ones to get to grips with.

‘In the Beginning’ would be a lovely addition to any church library or play group book corner. Another great book from Authentic.
