I am Your God

Bekah Grace is both writer and illustrator, and she vividly brings Scripture to life in each
short devotional contained in ‘I am Your God’ using visual representations of God the Father, God the Son/Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit. They are not literal representations, but are used to creatively communicate the theme of each devotional so children can more easily understand.

I read this with my 9 year old son (who loves reading comic books) and he particularly enjoyed the illustrations. There are four ‘open’ questions in each devotional which are designed to generate discussion. For this reason I think it would be best to read during the day and not at bed time, to give the best opportunity for good conversation and reflection. The Lord’s prayer is included at the end of the book, and there are pages for notetaking too!
