Happy Sad Mean, Joseph's Dream: Exploring FEELINGS through the story of Joseph

Each book clearly explains which area of development is mixed with which Bible story – like ‘Happy Sad Mean, Joseph’s Dream’, which explores feelings through the story of Joseph [a great follow-up for anyone who has done my 2023 Summer Family Devo!].

The rhyming element of these books makes them great fun to read and entertaining to listen to. In addition to being great stories to share together, my five-year-old also enjoyed reading them himself; the language is simple enough for a learner reader. He enjoyed the humorous parts – such as Jesus in a pot of jam from ‘ABC God Loves Me’. The illustrations are simple but beautiful. The contemporary colour schemes would look great on any bookshelf. The books are rich in diversity. My children and I enjoyed them, and they are classics in our home.
