God's Very Good Idea: Board Book

The ‘God’s Very Good Idea’ board book introduces very young children to concepts about equality and diversity from a Christian point of view. I love how this book brings to life how we are made in God’s image. The book cleverly introduces that it is Jesus who has made God’s very good idea of people being able to love him and each other possible.

This board book version of ‘God’s Very Good Idea’ is fantastic for even the youngest babies. The sentences are simple, with repetition which is always good for young children. The illustration is beautiful. It is simple yet detailed. It was also great to see contemporary church, which my children could recognise, portrayed.

My two-year-old got a lot from the ‘God’s Very Good Idea’ board book, but equally my five-year-old enjoyed it too, and picked out more detail and asked questions after reading it.
