Eyes Ears Noses Here Comes Moses
In ‘Eyes Ears Noses Here Comes Moses’, the story of Moses is told through body parts – from Moses’ FEET on holy ground, to his MOUTH saying ‘I’m too weak!’ to his shaking KNEES as he eventually visits Pharoah. Absolutely brilliant fun for preschoolers!
I am a fan of books which merge faith and early years learning; the ‘Bible Explorers’ books do that brilliantly. Each book clearly explains which area of development is mixed with which Bible story; for example, ‘123 Nativity’ bills itself as “exploring numbers through the story of Christmas”. It was an excellent way for my two-year-old to learn his numbers while hearing the Nativity story.
I have seen, and own, similar style books but I really like the unique books in this series covering Bible stories I haven’t seen explored in this way. The rhyming element of these books makes them great fun to read and entertaining to listen to. In addition to being great stories to share together, my five-year-old also enjoyed reading them himself; the language is simple enough for a learner reader. My children and I enjoyed these books and they became classics in our home.
