Perfect for new or expectant parents, this is a lovely little book (emphasis on the LITTLE - very important for time-starved new parents) which takes you through the book of Colossians, applying it to life with a baby.
It’s so relevant and helpful, equally written for Dads as well as Mums, and I was amazed by the applications Sarah Dargue drew out of a book of the Bible which wasn’t written specifically for parents!
There were some slightly uneasy moments regarding how we serve others and our spouses, but I’m a little sensitive to this kind of thing, as I know how, in the wrong hands, it can be misinterpreted. But, overall, ‘Bumps, Babies and the Gospel’ is a very helpful read.
