Wow! What a great idea: a creative devotional which is entirely flexible - you could do this one with your family, an adult small group, Sunday school kids, Messy Church, youth group or pretty much any other crowd you can think of.
‘Broken Bits & Weirdness’ would work particularly well for Lent, but likewise you could do it at any point in the year to suit you. The book features 9 different Biblical characters (Naaman, David, Ruth, Martha, Jonah, Cyrus, Peter, the thief on the cross, Thomas), and for each one Fay has created a plethora of varied resources.
The beauty is you can mix and match activities depending on your group – reading, wondering, thinking, responding, labyrinth, creating, cooking, doing/being and colouring. Everything is photocopiable, so it’s a lovely resource to use for a group, and to enjoy year after year!
