Awakening the Light

‘Awakening the Light’ follows a family who remain faithful to Fa-Cel and the others they bring along with them.  I found it initially hard to get my head round all the new terminology (there is a glossary at the beginning) but once I had got past the first few chapters, I quickly became absorbed in the world Natasha has created.

This book is aimed at teenagers, I would suggest 13+ because some of the temptations they face could be tricky/inappropriate for younger readers, but if you enjoy fantasy then I would highly recommend to adults as well. At no point was it overly detailed with the temptation content and it was both challenging and encouraging to think about how we are tempted and how we keep going as we walk with Jesus. 

It is the first in a series and I am very excited for the next installment!
