Animals of Eden Valley: Where Does God Live?

Set in Eden Valley, the stories answer big questions that children have about God. My six year old really enjoyed reading the ‘Animals of Eden Valley’ books.

‘Where Does God Live?’ is written in rhyming language but enough of a challenge that early readers can enjoy. One of the things I really liked is the follow up at the end, called Your Turn, where there are facts, conversations starters, research ideas, a prayer and a memory verse, giving a frame work for thinking more deeply about a relationship with God. Often the Holy Spirit is left out of children’s faith books or only vaguely touched on. The ‘Animals of Eden Valley’ books put the Holy Spirit front and centre.

My son was so engaged by the ‘Animals of Eden Valley’ books that he asked to download the app and played with it straight away. Incidentally, it’s great that the app is available on Amazon so that my kids could play with it on their tablets – something not every developer does. ‘Animals of Eden Valley’ is a great series of books, which I hope will have more titles added soon to help us answer more of the questions which kids love to challenge us with.
