A Mind of Their Own

I was delighted to be sent this book, because the topic of building our children's emotional wellbeing is absolutely on point - not only prior to 2020, when children's mental health services were already at breaking point, but since the pandemic, when there has been a record increase in referrals.

Learning how we can invest in our children’s wellbeing has never been more important. It’s a sizeable chunk of a book, but chugs along very easily, and you’ll be surprised by how quickly you devour Katharine’s chapters, filled with practical advice, real-life stories, try-out family activities, and a great selection of cartoons to diffuse the sometimes difficult topics covered by the book.

‘A Mind of Their Own’ is an essential read for us all.
